BARNEY COMES HOME
9 DECEMBER 2015

In the morning, Janet writes:

Update on the patient. He's alert and eating.
Had a good night. The vet wants to keep an eye on him today,
but if all goes well we will bring him home later this afternoon.

And later in the day . . .
Barney's Home

So he immediately got the soft collar off.
So much for that experiment.

Ph

He is on two antibiotics,
continuing the kepra and lactulose,
has a fentanyl patch & tramadol for pain.

Ph

He is very sleepy after
the ride home and a bit of a walk.
He is having trouble finding . . .

. . . a comfortable way
to lie down because he has
a huge incision and
it's clearly very sore.

We are glad he's home
and will keep him as comfortable
and quiet as possible.
Stitches come out Thursday next.

Awww . . . poor baby. Hope he heals quickly. He certainly is handsome and looks like he found his "comfortable" spot in the recliner! Prayers for a quick recovery!
