MONDAY, 10 JUNE

Sally is completely dissatisfied with the BCD that she bought new.
Couldn't get it adjusted. I said if it would make you feel better,
why don't you go rent something else. And she did.

Then she had an air source as part of her first BCD,
so she had to rent an octopus. Then they had to change the inflator hose
because it didn't fit.
Then it seemed that once they got all that together,
some of it was leaking.

However, we did get in the water and did a 35-minute dive.
She was much happier and more relaxed after we finished.
I took my camera along and I did get some pictures . . .

I made a sandwich for lunch and am resting right now.
We're going out at 1 p.m. on the boat for a two-tank dive on Klein [Little] Bonaire.

Had two great dives.

Saw some lettuce leaf slugs falling through the water,
a pair of Petersons shrimp, a big southern Atlantic stingray,
two squid entertained us for a few minutes, and of course,
the usual Caribbean reef residents - lionfish, angelfish,
damselfish, butterflyfish, squirrelfish, tarpon, etc.

[In pics of sea creatures, I've shown many of them twice:
first, a closeup of the creature itself;
second, the original pic of the creature
in situ,
showing how well-camouflaged it often is. -ad]
