Ph

Patrick, f/k/a Lance; our second foster,
the first foster we adopted out.

DID SOMEONE CONTACT YOU, OR DID YOU FIND CRUSA ON YOUR OWN?

On my own through Petfinder.com, but once I applied, it didn't take long for them to get a foster for me, I think it was within the week.

WHO IS IN YOUR FAMILY, AND DO FAMILY MEMBERS SUPPORT YOU?

It is my husband Mazin & myself.
At first he resisted, but now he gets
just as attached as I do.

Ph

Rosco, our Westie rescue foster during Summer 2009, who was an owner surrender due to biting. He was not successful in his first foster home. We had a rough couple of days until he learned his terrier-tude would not be tolerated here. He went to a fantastic family in September 2009; he has a Westie brother and so far, he is doing really well.

Ph

Ranger, a foster for a local shelter who was abandoned in a home for two weeks before the landlord went in to clean out the house.

DO YOU WORK WITH OTHER RESCUE GROUP(S) AND/OR BREED(S)? IF SO, WHICH RESCUE GROUP(S) AND/OR BREED(S)?

I transport for many different rescue groups, too many to name. I foster for local shelters while they are waiting for breed rescues to become available if it saves an animal from being euthanized. I've also helped out with Westie Rescue Missouri (WRMO), and I've been known to do an independent rescue a time or two when no rescue group was available to help a dog.

Ph

This is an independent rescue I did because Neil Diamond was to be
euthanized and they couldn't find a breed rescue to take him.
I was supposed to deliver him to my local no-kill shelter,
but couldn't bring myself to do it. I found a wonderful home nearby;
I continue to get updates on him. He is doing wonderfully!
