Joe tells me that the guys at the paint counter canNOT believe someone is painting a house this color. Outside. They began a pool, he says, for how long before he comes back for another color. I tell him, "Joe, if I change my mind about the color, I will INSIST you buy it someplace else!" And the painting begins . . . WEDNESDAY, 1 APRIL 2015 This morning, I feel like I am walking out of a bottle of Pepto Bismol. I also tell Joe that my neighbors have already complained, so I want to change the color. APRIL FOOL! The accent color makes all the difference . . . I clean out the Bird of Paradise in the front yard and find that it actually has a blossom; one that doesn't clash with the house . . .
