FRIDAY, 3 APRIL 2015 No more window . . . I look and look, but can't find any outside lights I like . . . until I look online at Home Depot. There are ONLY available online, free shipping to the house. Works for me! One of the four doesn't work, so I bring it to HD, and a few days later, a new one arrives. These are LED, so you don't see a bulb.
They look beautiful at night . . . the house immediately looks more modern.

We can't have a WHITE mailbox post now, can we? When Brad started painting it, he discovered that the bar holding the mailbox was hollow and filled with wasp nests. We hit 'em with scorpion spray (we'd used up the two cans of wasp spray); Neal suggested we spray this expanding foam into the bar and then cut it flush with the bar ends and paint it. So we did, but for a few days, it looked like there were TWO GIANT wasp nests on the mailbox post.
And to complete the theme, pink petunias in pink baskets.
