CHRISTMAS 1995
PORTRAIT BY BOB ANDERSON

Portrait

We were fortunate to "Scottie sit" a nine-week-old little girl, Bonnie, for ten days during Christmas vacation. We all had a great time, especially April. They played. and played, and played, and slept, and played, and slept, and . . . well, you get the idea.

My boss and friend, Bob Anderson, drew this portrait of the three of them and their game of "Toss the Scottie" as a gift for Secretaries' Day 1996.

CHRISTMAS 1995

"So," asks Misha, "when does the pest, I mean guest, go home?"

Bonnie liked to pull the ornaments off the bottom branches and run around with them in her mouth -- some of the ornaments were as large as her head!

"Whew! That little 'in your face' ball of fur has finally gone home, and now it's just the two of us getting all the love and attention (not to mention all the treats)!"

My name is MacDunald, and I'm as braw a Scot as ever chewed up a pair of slippers. I'm stubborn and I'm canny, I'm short-legged and close to the ground; what I lack in size I make up in courage. The Scotch are a fighting race and the tartan of my clan has never dragged the dust, my breed has never known defeat and we die game, do we Scots. My hair is coarse and wiry and my tail is carried high. I want to tell you these facts so you won't think me a sissy even if I do live a soft life in a fashionable neighborhood.
