CHRISTMAS

A TALE OF TWO
CHRISTMAS HEDGIES

CHRISTMAS

Whilst shopping at Walgreens, these two cuties JUMPED into my arms,
yelling, "Buy One of Us, Get the Other One Free!"

It's not like the kidz don't already HAVE a basket of toys,
including a plain Hedgie and a Christmas Hedgie.
But who am I to ignore a bargain . . . or deny the kidz more toys?

I was thinking of SweeTea & Gipsy,
who are the two who play with the Hedgies the most.

Hold that thought . . . .

I put them both under the tree on Christmas Eve . . .

CHRISTMAS

. . . and we watched on Christmas Morning to see which dog would notice them first . . .

CHRISTMAS

. . . Tipsy Gipsy was the first . . .

CHRISTMAS

Of course, anything that interests Gipsy, interests SweeTea, too . . .

CHRISTMAS

But, neither was interested . . . As my Mother used to say:
Dogs & children will make liars of you every time.

CHRISTMAS

(Because the tree is rotating, Gipsy & SweeTea are being
gently tapped on the head by ornaments, which they don't like,
so I move the Hedgies.)

CHRISTMAS

Gipsy comes back for another look & sniff . . .
when what to our wondering eyes did appear,
but UltraShy Heather, who's come out of her Safe Room
(a/k/a my office) to see what's going on . . .

CHRISTMAS

CHRISTMAS

You snooze, you lose, Gipsy . . .

CHRISTMAS

LOOK WHAT I FOUND!

CHRISTMAS

IT WAS JUST LYIN' UNDER THAT TREE THERE!

CHRISTMAS

CAN I KEEP IT?!

CHRISTMAS
