Elizabeth Walters (A Prizewinner!) CANADA Magnus Elizabeth writes: Big news . . . Magnus was on TV last night! We had gone to Rosedale Pres. Church for the Blessing of the Pets, and Toronto CITY TV was there filming. So on the 11:00 news, there was a little piece on the pet blessing, and I'm not kidding, Magnus was a feature. There he was, sitting so handsomely in the church aisle, wearing his polka dot bandana that you had made. Here is a picture that shows us outside the church the Toronto Mounted Police horses, who were also blessed. Note that Magnus is wearing your beautiful bandana, and the poochie pouch is draped around my neck.

RAFFLE WINNERS On 25 November, Andréa writes: Well, it took a long time, but I finally did the raffle. I printed out all the names for every $10 donated. Then I couldn't think of how to pick the names, as both VetteMan & I had a vested interest. "I know," I thought . . . "I'll throw the papers with the names on the floor and let the DOGS pick out the winners." Good idea - except that suddenly, none of the three dogs wanted anything to do with what was on the floor. Normally, they'd be picking up stuff and running around with it. This time - nothing. Eventually, Rico grabbed a few slips of paper and ran off, with me in pursuit. He managed to eat half of one of the slips, but I was able to decipher the name. So . . . There are sponges & sponges & gloves & gloves (reusable & disposable), & cloths & napkins & manufactured rags & huge bags of trailmix, two big thermoses & a smaller one, scrub pads, bandaids, tubes of moisturizers & sunscreens, baby wipes, tons of chapstick, cans of insect repellent, napkins and probably even more things that I can't see because if I totally empty the boxes, I'll never get them packed as perfectly as they were.

We cannot thank you enough. This is SUCH a wonderful headstart on our trip kit. Your generosity is just simply overwhelming and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
