LILY BELLE HAS HER SURGERIES 17 OCTOBER 2013

Lily Belle after surgeries Jim gets a kiss Shell writes: Lily Belle did very well with her surgeries Wednesday. She was spayed, had a large (benign) mammary tumor removed, and had a dental with five teeth extractions. One of her teeth was so loose that it actually just fell out during the routine examination. She was under anesthesia for quite some time, but came through it like a real trooper. Resting after surgeries Napping with Little Elephant We picked her up at 5 p.m. and she spent the night with us. Wonderful little girl with sweet personality. Appears to be housebroken and is very quiet, although I know there's a Cairn in there. See a video of Lily Belle coming home here . . . Making friends with Molly This morning, we were greeted by a frantically-wagging tail. Good appetite. She appears very interested in Molly; she wants nothing to do with Skippy, but he's not the most gracious of hosts. Driving to meet foster mom This morning I drove her to meet her foster mom, Lisa Baier. She & her dad, Don, are long-time foster parents and they stepped up to the plate right away when I asked if they could foster this little gal. Lisa Baier & Lily Belle
