We stayed in the barn awhile and then moved over to Porscha's home.

Porscha & Neil deserve a medal for patience -- all the time we were sitting & talking Forrest would be gnawing up & down their arms, hands, legs. Every once in a while there would be a "Forrest, NO" or "OUCH" and he'd be redirected for a while, running hither & yon . . . again nipping at whoever was closest.

"Hey! I'm NOT your Mum, and there's NO MILK available there!"

The long-suffering Tolly being 'fanged'
by not-so-Little Forrest Wombat. This darling dog is a saint.

It was delightful to see Forrest and the youngest of Porscha's dogs, Tolly, playing together. An interesting version of Wombat-Airedale bitey face.

"Go to sleep, Little Forrest."

"G'night, mate."

Denise writes:

Great to see Tolly settling down - we rescued him at the opening of duck shooting season when he was found sitting shivering & traumatised in the middle of the lake during the shooting. We all fell in love with him there and fought like mad to see who would take him home! Truly he is a gift.
