TRYING TO GET A NEW ADDRESS 9 NOVEMBER 2025
ANDREA ASKS: HAVE YOU A NEW ADDRESS YET? Sadly, no. I have applied to Royal Mail to recognise the address, but it's a vicious circle. The council who give the planning permission and licence are supposed to tell Royal Mail. They are working on it and apologise for the delay. I can't set up mail forwarding until Royal Mail recognise the existence of the address. I can't get broadband till the address is on the Royal Mail list. I can't seem to get it on the list till the council extracts its finger and gets on with the job. I bet they are not so slow at issuing a council tax bill. I have to phone the site manager tomorrow for an update on the access road and drive completion date and the garage installation. Once these three things are done we can move. If the address is still not fixed Mike's son said use his address for mail and he'll drive down to meet us with our post. It is about a two-hour drive. I can use my phone as a hot spot so I will have Internet access.
