ARRIVAL 26 NOVEMBER 2025
Jackie writes: We left at 10 p.m. and arrived in Barrhead at 6.15 a.m. So that was quite good time. The drive was actually quite nice. I can say I saw the sun set in England and rise in Scotland. We have to hang about here for an hour or so till the site manager starts work because he has our keys. We've driven through frost, ice, -3°C [26.6°F] and 0°C [32°F]; there is a covering of snow here making the trees look very pretty. I have to say I'm quite tired now as I've been up for 25 hours. Wagons roll . . . our wee convoy [leaving on 11/25] . . .
