MOLLY MAE WAS AT THE VET

10 JULY 2010

Martha writes:

We took Molly to a vet in Louisville right after we picked her up and they finished removing all of the horrendous accumulation and put her on antibiotics for the infection and an antinflamatory. Once things settled down and they scabbed over, she was less touchy about having us clean up her eyes. The prior owner said their vet talked about allergies, but never seemed to come up with anything definite.

We had Molly's teeth cleaned because they were long overdue. Our local vet gave us some ointment to use under her eyes for a little while.

Her eyes seem fine now to me . . . no more drainage or eye gunk than any of our other dogs. She does seem to have a bit of scarring or darkness under her eyes, due to the neglect, which will hopefully fade in time. She is a total sweetie!

The little stinker is camera shy.
She has such a sweet face and we need a close up of her!
She is almost eight years old, but she has a puppy face.
[She also coordinates well with the flooring. --ad]

Molly's medical bill total so far has been $423.95.

MARY of PMREHABILITATION LIST:
Wow, you guys have done a great job for her! I'll refrain from making the comments I want about the former owners, other than they were selfish.

I can imagine this little girl feeling such joy & contentment, even without table food! Good job, ladies!

BOB ANDERSON:
