BRAVEHEART LEADS THE PARADE AT THE 2011 WISCONSIN STATE FAIR 10 AUGUST 2011
Marti writes: When we arrived at the State Fairgrounds on Wednesday, Jim & I made a beeline for the University of Wisconsin exhibit, as we knew that Braveheart had been invited to lead the Bucky Badger parade at the State Fair later that afternoon. We saw a crowd gathered around the end of the UW Vet School booth, but at first we weren't sure what all the excitement was about; so we pushed our way to the front of the crowd. Lo and behold, there was Braveheart - surrounded by his adoring fans - being petted & cuddled by people of all ages . . .
Mmmmmmm . . . I'll give you a year to stop . . .
. . . while Braveheart's mom Lisa related the story of how Braveheart had been rescued from a Kentucky dumpster in late March of this year.	Standing on a large easel was a big beautiful Braveheart poster, telling his story in pictures.
