HAS HAPPY EYES

Sweetheart is doing quite well!
She has gotten her first round of wormer
(for the hookworms, whipworms & tapeworms),
and she is presently on two different kinds
of antibiotics (cephalexin & doxycycline),
a steroid to reduce inflammation in her ear,
and tramadol as a pain reliever
(for her ear infection and her arthritis).

She is eating like a horse; she doesn't look so terribly thin now.
|
We have been taking her to the dog park
with our other dogs,
and she enjoys sniffing around;
with each passing day she is a
little less worried that we
might abandon her there!
In spite of the bad arthritis in her spine,
she trots around a little,
and when one of the other small dogs
pesters her, she reads IT the riot act!
So, she's starting to show she
can be feisty when she needs to be!

Sweetheart still looks old
(no cure for THAT, I'm afraid!),
but I think you'll see that she
feels better and has more of a
sparkle in her eyes!
