Head 'em up and move 'em out!
We're on our way to our new homes!

Three of the pups say good bye to their foster mom & foster brother, Danny.

Crates are all set up and the van is packed . . . it's a road trip!

We go through . . .

. . . into . . .

Ph

. . . and up to . . . .

The pups are wonderful travelers. They sleep the whole time and enjoy the trip.

The pups probably weigh about 15 pounds now.
They are fat & sassy! They traveled beautifully today in two crates.
After a few minutes, they settled in and slept the whole way.
There were no potty accidents and no unkind words.
I was so proud of them!

We're here! In Missouri! The pups have a ball romping & playing in their pen area.

Ph

They quickly figure out how to use the doggie door to get in & out
and love the girls who play with them!
(George & Betty's granddaughters)

Everyone is happy to have the rest of the day off.

Tomorrow is another big day, but for now, it's just fun to be a pup.

George Engle writes:

The puppies arrived in Missouri about an hour ago and are in fine shape.
They are settled in our kennel and being entertained by three granddaughters
to play with! They already know how to use the pet door [the dogs,
not the granddaughters]. And have big pillows to sleep on if that happens.
The big dogs have panicked for fear they will stay!

One last side note, we HAD one pound of hamburger on the counter
and left Tinker in the house while we visited with Fran & Jeff.
Notice the word HAD. Our mistake; she is a known countersurfer
& felon. Punishment tonight: poop pills!

Frances writes:

As George said, Jeff & I successfully delivered the pups this afternoon.
They were greeted by the resident Airedale & granddaughters,
who immediately took them to their pen and started playing with them.
I'm sure the pups will be tired tonight and will sleep soundly!

Thanks, George & Betty, for providing a safe haven for these pups.
Safe travels tomorrow, everyone.
