HARRY SETTLES IN

30 JANUARY 2013

Ph

Harry says hi to Pepper & Bounty.

Ph

There is no growling or snapping, but we are taking it slowly.

Jan writes:

Things continue to improve. Harry is settling in pretty well.
Still is a bit nervous, but improving quickly.
The report on the blood work, fecal & urine tests
came back from the vet as perfect, so that's a relief.

Harry is a very
sweet & gentle boy.

He gets quite excited when you
pick up a leash;
he wants to carry it himself.

He loves toys and carries them
around with him or buries them
in the snow.

I found a toy! Now, off to bury it!

Ph

If things continue to improve,
Harry will be a wonderful companion for someone.
He was raised with children & other dogs.
He would do well with another senior dog.
We don't know about cats.

Ph

Checking out the neighbor's house . . .

Ph

. . . and the yard.

I am usually pretty good
at letting the rescues
go to great homes,
but this guy will be
hard to let go of.
He is a really nice boy.

Here's my kennel.
This is where I go to eat by myself.
Sometimes I sleep here.

Ph

Ph

Pepper has a kennel too!
We get sent here to dry off after playing in the yard.

Ph

The neighbor dog is talking to me through the trees.

Ph

I can see you over there!

Ph

They keep telling me not to worry; it will be OK.

Anim

PRISCILLA LUNDBLAD:
What a nice-looking Airedale! He looks so sweet, too!
I have the perfect home for him if I wasn't so far away in Colorado.

Anim

MAUREEN SCOTT:
Such a handsome boy!

Anim

BOB ANDERSON:
What a beautiful boy!

Anim

JACKIE McGUINNESS:
He looks such a happy boy. I hope he finds a really good home soon.
I, too, think he looks younger than his years.
He certainly looks younger than Mr Mac.

Anim

NEAL SKRENES:
That's good news. Hope someone will take him.
