ROCKY'S SURGERY
IS DELAYED

On 31 March, Debbie writes:

Rocky was not able to have his surgery this morning due to a few red bumps on his skin. When the surgeon took a close look at them, they appeared to be a little "gooey," as she called them. They are right on the outside and inside of the elbow that is requiring surgery so the risk for infection multiplies.

Due to these circumstances, we have decided to wait. Better safe than sorry. We will take him back in two weeks to reevaluate his skin.

In the meantime, he will continue on 2000mg of Amoxicillin a day. They have also added 300mg of Doxycycline Hyclate a day. He still gets his pain pills as well. Rocky is now up to 7.5 pills every day.

This medicine is expensive and his medical costs continue to rise. We haven't even gotten to the big stuff yet. If you have been thinking about donating to help offset his expenses, let me tell you that your help is needed now more than ever. He is such a dear heart and so worthy of your help.
