ROBI COMES UP NORT' . . .
. . . AND HOME

The meeting with Shannon Francis went well; Robi was a bit overwhelmed in the beginning with two big dogs in the home in addition to Rory, a CRUSA rescue from 2003 [my first home visit ever. --ad]. Once she received treats from Shannon and ran outside with the pack, you could see she was going to settle in; she had no issues with approaching Shannon for more treats.

In a report from Shannon Saturday morning, Robi was a bit uneasy through the early evening, but slept with Shannon and Sunday morning, she joined the routine of a ride to the coffee shop with the pack and then a walk. So I do believe it is all good.

A very emotional time for Bob & me, with Robi moving on to her forever home. Always hurts, even when you know it is the right move.

Robi went to the dog park today with the pack and we took pictures. She has added a LOT of energy to the pack! I don't think Rory has run around so much in a long time . . . he was just running after me as I was running with her to try to get out some of that pent-up energy. She is FAST and loves to sprint wildly.

Just like my Meggie did, Robi watches my every move and adjusts her position based on which room I'm in. Now everyone is quiet in bed resting and I'm heading off to work.
