Lee & I are registered for the ride.
We are also registering with an outfitter company
that will set up our tents every night,
have clean towels for us every day
and provide chairs for us to sit in.
They also transport all our extra gear.

It's time to get serious. We're getting very excited.
People are wondering why we would spend our vacation doing this.
It's fun, and we hope to raise lots of money for NAR.

CATHY BIERSACK of ATRVA
(AIREDALE TERRIER RESCUE OF VIRGINIA)
is also planning to ride. Tim & Christine Sheffer of ARWNY
(AIREDALE RESCUE OF WESTERN NEW YORK)
may join the NAR BAK TEAM.

On 31 January, Debbie writes:

Waiting for the temperature to rise another five degrees
and I'll get on my bike for a 30-mile ride.
June is fast approaching.

And on 1 February:

I did a 25-mile training ride yesterday.
Set out to do 30, but didn't quite make it.
Oh well, it's still early.
Leaving now to do another 25.
