30 JULY 2010

We think this may be the first time GRACIE's been on grass . . .

Joe & I headed out on Friday morning to go to Gayle & Bob's house.
Bob had made the trip to Missouri to pick up our two new babies
(three months old), an-eight-week-old pup and five other mill dogs.
We had a nice relaxing trip and we were glad we did;
Gayle called and told us to enjoy it as there would be
no relaxing once Bob got home!

And boy was she right.

Let's see . . . their six, five mill dogs and three puppies,
for a total of 14 dogs at the Kiesow house.

Bob arrived with all the dogs; crate after crate after crate.
I couldn't wait to see our two and I wasn't disappointed . . .
they are just adorable!! It was love at first sight!
And then the "baby" [Aryl] was let out;
he was so itty bitty and so darn cute . . .
Gayle made a beeline to him of course!
Out came all the other dogs, one cuter then the next.
And talk about friendly . . . we couldn't believe it,
especially with their being mill dogs. We were so pleasantly surprised.

They all settled in pretty nicely;
a few squabbles here & there,
but nothing we couldn't handle.
We were so good at what we do,
we even managed to sit down
to a delicious dinner!
Then, being so tired after such
a long day, especially for Bob,
we decided to turn in.
