Tim with the girls

On 23 August, Bill-Tomas writes:

We're back from our weekend away from home,
and we're happy to report that Rosie
finished the weekend with flying colors!

We drove up to Charlotte, North Carolina to visit Tim's
parents and took the girls with us. We stopped on Friday in
Greenville, South Carolina to check out the sights
and give the puppies a break from the car.

Then, on to Charlotte where we stayed at the dog-friendly
Days Inn just outside Charlotte and had a nice visit with
Tim's parents, where the girls were thoroughly spoiled
and got to run wildly through their ample backyard.

Rosie is doing better overall;
she's still skittish when she hears loud noises,
she does NOT like to get into the car
(once she's there, she's fine),
and if she could, she'd rid herself
of her leash in a heartbeat!

Sassy Girls!

BUT . . . she's sleeping through the night;
she's being more independent and doing things like
lounging on the couch more, rather than being glued to us 24/7;
and she's much more curious about things around the house,
and the other dogs in the neighborhood.

Rosie

When's DINNER?

(In fact, Tim calls her "Nosy Rosie" because she's
always checking things out during our walks to the park).

Rosie

So DRIVE, already!

She's going to make someone a wonderful companion.

TRACIE COTTON:
So glad Rosie did well on the trip. I'm glad she's becoming more independent and checking things out.

Ph

BOB ANDERSON:
Truly a unique & completely different experience for Rosie!
You go, girl . . . .
