Sammie is a stray off the streets
of a town in southern Indiana
who will be transported this Saturday
to foster home Erica & Tom Bergin in Illinois.
Normally she would be in BJ's region,
but BJ has her hands full and no foster homes.

Sammie is going to need the following:
* Blood work to determine why her liver is enlarged
(detected by a sonogram & x-rays because she was thought to be pregnant);
* all vaccinations;
* dental (her teeth are terrible);
* she is blind in one eye;
the other has dry eye that has not been treated;
* we don't yet know if she's been spayed,
so that may a future expense.

So this little girl is in need of A LOT,
but thanks to Erica & Tom,
we are able to bring her in and
get her life started
in the right direction.
