SAMMIE & HER MEDS

15 FEBRUARY 2012

Sammie is doing really well. She has joined our pack and is one of them;
no accidents in the house; never wet panties in the morning;
asks to go out; barks to come in; sits up for food, treat &
to be picked up; loves to have her tummy rubbed.
This is, seriously, the best foster we have ever had.
No issues at all other than getting her healthy.

Here is a pic from today of Sammie & her meds.
Index cards for what's what & when and
noted with each medication given and what time.
When you're on five meds,
you better be keeping track of what is going on.
She looks sleepy in the picture,
but that is what she does if she stays put any length of time,
almost like nodding off, but she is still on pain meds.
She is active when outside and, of course, around food time.

Talked with the vet yesterday who actually did her jaw surgery;
the instructions are to have get her an x-ray in
approximately eight to ten weeks,
but that the wire will most likely be permanent.
At that time we will have her spayed and a final dental if needed.
