SAMMY GOES TO THE DENTIST

Sammy's mouth was as bad as suspected;
 
Sammy's blood test showed everything in normal range,
 
 
He was again a gentleman, and Vet Tech Christine fell in love with him . . .

With the amount of bone loss Sammy had,

His gums are looking better; stitches are fine;

of which Sammy had A LOT, in a month he will be retested
to see if these values are closer to normal without the inflammation.

no after-effects, that I have noticed, except he seems a bit wary of me,
perhaps blaming for the entire episode yesterday.

Sammy will be able to chew his food again!
After a month, he will again have a blood test to determine if his liver values
decrease when the gum inflammation has been reduced.
 
 
all in all, he is doing well,
I've notice improvements: playbowing with me,
chasing a toy and squeezing it hard enough to squeak.
Obviously, his teeth no longer hurt. Good boy!
