AIREDALE SNOWGLOBE

won by RITA FERRER, who writes:

What a GREAT prize! What a GREAT fundraiser! What GREAT senior Airedales we have heard about! What GREAT families who have opened their hearts to these seniors! What GREAT supporters!

This is my FAVORITE fundraiser of all. Please keep buying those tickets so we can meet the goal. Wouldn't that be wonderful for all the senior Airedales who need a new chance at happiness?

I am so thrilled to win Annette's snow globe. Thank you Chris Zane & Mama Louise for donating it for this wonderful cause.

Annette continues to be an inspiration to me. I think of her often. She gave so many Airedales a chance at a new life, including many seniors. I don't know how many because we were all so busy trying to keep up with her, we didn't have time to count. I know she personally brought Hannah Banana Cha Cha Dancer, a very senior little 'dale, into my life. Hannah was a bright spirit that didn't have a long time with us but was silly and happy and would dance her way into anyone's heart. I will remember her always.

And on a non-Airedale note, during those same years that Annette was rescuing countless Airedales, she also rescued & rehomed a half dozen or so Wire Fox Terriers every year. After we lost Annette, Lynda Dziedzic knew that someone in Michigan needed to step up and help the little wires and so thanks to her, WIRE FOX TERRIER RESCUE, GREAT LAKES was born. I adopted Toby and then started helping by fostering, too.

So, big & little, the bearded wiry terriers are my family.

Show the world that an Airedale is your best friend!

Christine Zane writes:

Several years ago I purchased an Airedale snow globe for Annette Hall as a Christmas gift. The wrapping paper was barely off and she was already talking about donating it to an ATRA fundraiser. Somehow I convinced her to keep it. It was returned to me by her mother after Annette passed. I know she would be happy knowing her snow globe was going to the Airedales as she wished.
