I have to admit, since I do not use my front porch in the winter, I never even open the front door. Imagine my surprise when I noticed today, whilst digging out from the winter storm, a large box, unmolested by Simon, sitting on the porch outside my door.
A thrill shot through me! Knowing I was expecting nothing else, I knew it had to be the teapot & mugs that I had won during the Senior Airedale fundraiser.
I was so excited, I brought it in the house and unwrapped the most lovely pyr-Aire-mid-shaped teapot, and two wonderful Aire-mugs! They are just beautiful, I will treasure them always! I know the fundraiser was a smashing success, which is the most important thing, but boy am I psyched to have the teapot & mugs as a fabulous reward for giving. Carol's creations are just terrific. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
