The quilt came to the Senior Airedale fundraiser in a very sad way. Ann Matix of Columbus Ohio was a long time Airedale owner and member of ORVATC & ATRA. She passed away suddenly in 2003 leaving all her prized Airedale possessions for donation to Airedale Rescue. Sandi Sprankle was entrusted to donate them into Rescue for good causes such as this fundraiser for the seniors. Many Airedales have been helped by Ann's wonderful donations and she is looking down with joy as her treasured collectibles help even more Airedales in need. I also suspect that she is surrounded by adoring Airedales and wearing a lively smile.
The machine-sewn Airedale quilt measures 34" x 34"
