Foster Mom SARAH KANTAR, who came from Northbrook AND brought a friend who may foster for us!
VAL & CARL SEAGER, who brought beautiful, feisty Fiyero. If I had to guess I'd say they're thinking about adding to their canine family.
SHIRLEE WATSON, who adopted from us at last year's adoption event, brought her darling Cairn girl, Mege, who is as pretty as ever.	Mege (f/k/a Sandy) was part of the SHELL'S EXCELLENT MISSOURI ADVENTURE rescue mission in December 2006.
I think one of the highlights of the day was when I overheard a dad say to his son, "Do you understand what's happening here today? These dogs lived in a bad place and now they are here because they need homes and these people are trying to find them new families". The dad proceeded to ask me tons of questions about our Cairns and where they came from and the little boy listened as intently as any six-year-old could. If even a tenth of it sunk in, then it was a worthwhile day.
