anxiously await the new arrival.
Henry has never met (or sniffed) a mill dog . . .
Viola has already found a hidey-hole and is pretty much tucked away there. She is terrified of the leash. She does not fear bite, but she sure doesn't want to be picked up! She has no idea what her name is, doesn't want to look me in the eyes, won't eat (although she has twice thrown all of the food out of April's bowl, for some reason. Some of it landed in the water bowl, so Henry tried to help by snorkeling for it - SNORTSNORTSNORT . . . water all over the place!). We will leave her alone tonight and begin working with her tomorrow, when all the noisy neighbors and lawn mowers aren't outside. She probably just needs a nice long sleep.
She had to have quite a bit of hair cut away due to compacted feces & urine, as you can see . . . she has a poodle cut, with a plumed tail and fluffy paws. Pretty comical to see. Luckily hair grows out!
