IN BALI
AND, FINALLY, IN WATER
18-19 MAY 2016

Arrived in Bali at about 11:24 p.m.

INDONESIA

Waiting for luggage. One nice thing about flying China Eastern Airways
is NO EXTRA LUGGAGE FEES. It's all in the tickets
unless you go over 50 pounds or have an extra large bag.

INDONESIA

Took an hour to get my bags and go through customs.

Boy, is it hot and humid here.
The shuttle bus driver was waiting for me when I came out of the customs clearance,
but it took three passes of the line back-and-forth to see him with the sign he carried.

I finally got some Indonesian money!
No one in Chicago or China had any Indonesian dollars at all.

Took about a half an hour
to drive to the hotel and
another half hour to check in.

I have a nice little room
on the third floor;
there is no elevator.

Seeing as it's 1 o'clock
in the morning,
there is nothing much to look at.

I took a shower and now
I'm going to put my
head down for a while and sleep.
Breakfast starts at 6:30
and goes until 9 a.m.

Outside my room . . .

TIME FOR A COMMERICIAL BREAK & A NOTE FROM YOUR WEBAUTHOR:

If you all think I've been lounging by the pool, drinking Margaritas
and ogling the pool boy while Neal's been doing all this hard work,
think again.

At this time, I haven't a pool or a pool boy (not for lack of trying,
at least for the former), but I DID get another foster dog on 18 May;
a very neglected/abused girldog named SADEE IN FLORIDA . . .
