On 15 November, Cairndaddy & I did a Home Visit . . .

. . . for an applicant within a half mile of our house. The application was for . . . ANGEL, the foster currently in the same home as Frazier, with Paul & Shelley Joyce.

Lynette & Henry Henriksen were approved to adopt Angel, so they would be traveling to the Joyces' house to pick her up.

Frazier is doing great. He met two of my grandsons (one year old & three years old) and played the whole time. He loves to play tug-of-war & fetch. He will be great with some active kids. Doing pretty good on housebreaking since he has been neutered . . . still needs some work. But what do we expect?

On 20 November, Shell Lewis, CRUSA Midwest Placement Director, writes:

Lynette & Henry Henriksen are taking Shelley's OTHER Cairn, Frazier, as an FTA [Foster To Adopt].

So I may get to meet Frazier, who started his Rescue Adventure in a St. Louis vet clinic, was saved by the cooperation of Airedale & Cairn Rescues, and may soon have a forever home with a Golden Retriever and a sister Cairn. Ain't life grand?

Can't believe he's leaving in two days . . . and he's only been here seven. Even in that short time, we have really grown attached. He is such a sweetheart. But he is going to a great couple.
