TAYLOR LEIGH UPDATE

28 JANUARY 2012

Dr. Allison writes:

Good news came for Taylor yesterday.
She completely stopped vomiting and started eating like a champ.
Looks like she's going to be a survivor!

Later in the day, BJ writes:

I haven't been able to see her as I hoped.
The vet hospital has been swamped.
BUT, Taylor is eating like a champion!
She is soooooo much better.

I am so very happy

And the best news comes:

We are going to the hospital tomorrow around 1 p.m. to pick her up.
Julie & Bill Hatfield have had a parvo puppy before
and have a place to isolate her, as she is still contagious.

Thank you so much, Julie & Bill! I love my foster parents!

TAYLOR LEIGH GOES "HOME"

29 JANUARY 2012

BJ writes:

I'm tired but happy.
Gabrielle, Lucy & Gianni
all went home this morning.
I cried my eyes out.
Gabrielle's mom,
on her way to Georgia,
volunteered to take
Lucy & Gianni to meet
Sheila & Gordon in Georgia.
Then off to the airport
to get another.

Dr. Long & Vet Tech Michelle

I get home; electrician is here to FINALLY get me some heat
as I've been without heat for eight days.
Yeah, I now have heat!
Then off to Advanced Animal Hospital to meet Julie & Bill.

Ph

Michelle went over instructions with them.

I talked to Dr. Long and
out the back door we went.

One of the other little parvo puppies
didn't make it; he died last night.
My heart fell.

I am so happy that Taylor came through.
She has a lot of meds,
but she will be fine.
She goes back in one week
for a checkup & shots.
I will go with them.

I thank everyone for their prayers, thoughts, Zen, and
especially for the donations to her care,
for without all of these, she may not have made it!
She is a beautiful baby girl to whom CRUSA
has now given a new chance at life!

FosterParents
Bill & Julie take Taylor "home"

I love Allison (Dr. Allison Tevis):
When Taylor was getting better and I couldn't take her just yet,
she said that they were going to drop her down to
just boarding & meds! This helped lower the cost.

So, from 27 January through today,
she was considered boarded.
Our final bill - of course,
she has to be seen by the docs again, get her shots and be spayed -
but right now the total was $851.53 with our rescue discount!

HOT DIGGITY DANG!
The rest of the monies will be used for our other needy babies.

A CRUSA thank-you to Advanced Animal Care -
Main Hospital for the wonderful care to our baby.

Wonderful news for Taylor, she looks so sweet. Glad you have a foster who can take her; she will just fatten up and blossom there.

Hope Taylor gets a great home; she's so cute!
