Teddy's surgery went well this morning.
Under general anesthesia, a large and a smaller
area of tissue on his right paw were removed.
He was sutured, bandaged and an e-collar put on;
I left the vet with an antibiotic & pain medication.
The bandage will have to be kept dry which,
with the ice & snow around here,
means putting a plastic bag over his foot when he goes out.
He'll be checked and the bandage changed in five days,
and the sutures will come out after a week and a half.
He's in good spirits.
