A woman in the western
Chicago suburbs recently
lost her husband and
had to move to an
apartment with her
teenage daughter & her
two small dogs, who were
crated all day while
she was at work.

Her other dog - a pomeranian - was rehomed;
several days ago she filled out an OS form for her Cairn, Toto.
Toto was originally purchased at a shopping mall pet store
called "Furry Friends".
In researching his registration papers,
I found that he came from an Amish mill in Ohio.
In fact, several years ago, this facility had been
under investigation for poor conditions.

I picked up Toto this morning and he is absolutely delightful.
Friendly & energetic.
