WINTER STORM

1-2 FEBRUARY 2011

Gr Gr Gr Gr Gr Gr

On 31 January, we were getting warnings and media hype about a coming
"Storm of the Century" (even though we're only 10 years into the 21st century) . . .
over 1/3 of the nation's population would be affected, according to the doomsayers.

I did go out on Monday to get groceries, Rico's meds (MOST IMPORTANT),
and MaryB & I met for lunch while we still could.
This is all we had for snowfall . . .

Tuesday morning, still not much snow, but LOTS OF PANIC.
Bread & milk were flying off grocery shelves.
I was able to get to Walgreens for Rico's other meds,
and I was set for, as Marcella Beni called it, Armageddon.
Or maybe SNOWmageddon would be more apropos.

At 5:15 Tuesday evening,
it began to snow and blow and snow and blow, ad nauseum.
These were taken at 5:36 p.m.
