Zoe is definitely NOT a lapdog. She wants to be WITH us . . .
like in the same room . . . but on the couch or our lap? No, thanks, she says.

CairnDaddy likes a challenge, so he is working with Zoe,
just as he worked with Heather, convincing her that we are
"the good guys" and sitting with/on us leads to scritches.

Daisy is complaining loudly . . .

. . . and gets her way, to sit by HER Pops

It took us three years, but Heather now ASKS to be picked up . . .

. . . and she stays on the couch if you sit down next to her.

We're confident that we'll have Zoe sitting on our laps, too . . .

we usually have several smallish dogs, and one tiny one.
