Wanted to let you know as of last night I have 12 homes for 12 Cairns; the Henriksen's in Kenosha, previous adopters, stepped up so that made 12.

[Henry & Lynette adopted Angel & Frazier in November 2008; Frazier was one of the dogs in A TALE OF TWO RESCUES and can be seen HERE]

The dogs should be coming into Dr T's either this weekend or beginning of the week.

So we will be placing dogs in homes from Peoria, Illinois. to Novi, Michigan, with five in Wisconsin.

On 15 December, Sue S writes:

Good Morning and Welcome to the transport of the Cabool 12 - the best little Christmas Gifts around.

As you know, the dogs are busy getting ready to travel and we are hoping to get names/pictures today which will get forwarded to you as soon as possible. They all appear to be in good shape with no major issues.

Bob K is offering to drive down to Waynesville on Friday, stay overnight on Friday and start back with the dogs Saturday morning. Tammy, if you feel that Bob is stealing your fun, please feel free to jump in and offer to drive.

Vet's office says that many of these dogs may be in individual crates so be prepared for a lot of dogs & crates.

Regardless of who makes the trip to Waynesville, the transport will move on Saturday for Illinois & Wisconsin dogs and on Sunday for those moving to Michigan. Thank you all so much for giving up your time during the busy busy holiday season to help us out with this move. According to the lady who picked them up at the breeder for us, they were living in shacks. How wonderful that they will be safe & warm for Christmas.
