Two puppy mills in Missouri are closing,
putting over 850 dogs on the auction block.
CRUSA hopes to obtain the 13 Cairns listed.

These two mills are considered among the ten WORST mills in Missouri,
so thank heavens for small favors.
If we don't obtain these Cairns, they could be . . .
sold to another mill or BYB to continue as breeding stock . . .
sold for "bait" dogs for dogfight training . . .
sold/given to medical research labs . . .
or destroyed, and NOT humanely.
Which is why Bob Kiesow & Joe Radosevich
are making the drive to the auction in Mexico, Missouri
on 29 October to get whatever Cairns they can.
Two of the 13 may be pregnant;
another may have puppies with her.
Hence the PLUS in this Rescue Mission's name!
There will be, of course, opportunities to
NAME THAT CAIRN for $25 per name,
especially if puppies are coming along/whelping.
Dr. Johnson has kindly offered to open his cllinic, fully-staffed,
whenever Bob & Joe come home with the dogs.
As the clinic is not set up for keeping dogs,
they have cleared out a storage room to make
an isolation room for these dogs
since we have no idea what shape they might be in.
Jodi, the vet tech who whelped Holly [of THE ROLO 3+,
whose story can be read HERE],
will come in no matter what time they arrive home
on Saturday night and then again Sunday morning,
if we get the pregnant girls,
because they will be moving to BJ that day.
