HARRY IN ALASKA

28 JANUARY 2013

Jan Williams, of ALASKA AIREDALE RESCUE, writes:

Harry, an 11-year-old Aireboy came into rescue yesterday.
The owners had done the vet visit as I asked them to.
He does have an ear infection, so came with meds.
I will hear from the vet when the blood work comes back.
He is in good shape . . . and so are his vocal cords;
he is a barker. As far as his torsion issues,
he came with his own bowl that is made for fast eaters.
He does eat fast, but the bowl seems to work pretty well.

In looking through the paper-
work that came with him,
I discovered that he & Pepper
are brother & sister.
The same dam & sire,
but 14 months apart.
[PEPPER's story is HERE]

I am so glad these people
only had two litters
before finding out that
selling puppies doesn't
go easily every time.

Harry was very upset yesterday;
I ended up giving him Rescue Remedy to calm him down.
It wasn't so easy to leave the family he had had
for 11 years and move in with his bitchy sister.
This morning, he seemed a little better.

I do have some people
who are interested in Harry,
but they will be out of town
through the end of February.

Think good thoughts
for this sweet boy.

JACKIE McGUINNESS:
Poor Harry.

How sad to lose your home after 11 years. Mr Mac will be 11 this June.
I would hate to have to give him up; he would be too sad.

The good thing is that Harry went straight to you and not into a kennel;
it sounds as if he might not have done too well in a kennel.

TERRY STEVENS:
Thinkin' way good thoughts for Harry!

CINDY BERMINGHAM:
I just find it so hard to understand how anyone could give him up after 11 years.

I have a female named Tallulah who will be nine in April.
I have had her since she was six weeks old;
I would never be able to give her up. She is my fifth child.

God bless you, Janet, for taking him; I hope he finds a good home.

Good luck Harry!!

BOBBI PROCYK:
I think he's adorable!

Anim

JO EMENY:
Oh, he is a dear sweet old boy. Good luck getting him a new forever home!

BARBARA MORRISON:
Harry looks like a stuffed animal - so cute!
I hope he settles in soon and doesn't feel so abandoned.
