I waited for a [relatively] cool morning to set up a potting area under the ceiling fan. Is she EVER gonna come out of kitchen? What's going on here, anyway?? You can see that the first supervisor showed up immediately . . . GIPSY sez: Stop with that flashie thingie already and get to work! Just as transplanted palms here are given a rather severe "haircut", I cut down the amaryllis foliage. I had thought to get all six into one pot, but decided to put three in two pots instead. (I wanted enough room for my original Christmas Cactus to be on the cart, rather than having to carry it every day; it's heavy!) I also severely cut off their roots. The biggest Amaryllis bulb and the smallest (a pup from another one) were put together into the second pot . . . Of course, another supervisor soon moseyed outside . . . EMMIE sez: Whatcha doin', Mom? I've never seen you do THIS before!
