SADEE MEETS HER MOM-TO-BE! 9 AUGUST 2016
When Sadee's site went up in May, Anita Charochak, who has previously adopted from CRUSA, and recently moved to Florida, applied for her. As she (Sadee, not Anita) still had quite a ways to go before adoption could be considered, she (Anita, not Sadee) has patiently waited while Sadee returns to her full health. Anita was in Tampa this week and drove down to Palm Harbor for a meet-n-greet. Here is the rest of the story . . . Because it was raining, and because any door mat is immediately peed upon, I put down this towel in anticipation of Anita's visit.
Of course, having been told who was coming to visit, Sadee assumed it was there for her to wait . . . . . . and wait . . . . . . and wait some more . . . Sigh Dogs have NO IDEA what it's like to drive in rain that seemingly comes from a firehose. SHE'S HERE! Anita with Sadee, SweeTea & Daisy2Legs Dogs are in diapers & piddlepants because THEY WILL NOT GO OUTSIDE IN THE RAIN! Daisy, who tells every visitor that she gets NO ATTENTION FROM ME, asks to have her tummy rubbed. By Anita's feet, if need be. Even CRUSA Foster BUDDY IN FLORIDA comes up for a looksee; he'd like a new Mommy, too.

Heather is with us, but not really WITH us.
HERE'S LOOKIN' AT YOU, ANITA! Is this where the line forms to get scritches? THIS was certainly a first: Sadee went to the toybox, picked out this toy, and then she played tug. Somehow, Heather got the toy and added it to her stash. She is a toy hoarder. I think Sadee is a Keeper, don't you? I love this picture. Sadee is an extremely laidback dog . . . she actually fell asleep. Well, look who decided to join us! I want some o' that lovin', too! So, Sadee will have a home with, TESSA, BENNY & ALBERT (KARMA crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 20 August 2016) She will be going home mid-September. DOREEN MUNDIE: Happy for Sadee. You found her a family! Cairns can be tough customers, but I love their strength and independent spirit. Look how strong little Miss Two Legs is! ELAINE ALGER: Really good news. SUE HENDERSON: Yeah! I love Cinderella stories. ELAINE ALGER: Such good news; warms one's heart. ELAINE ALGER: Sweet sweet Sadee. She looks soooooo good! How could someone not adopt her? Glad she is getting a new mom and dog family. SUE PERRY: I know first-hand that Sadee is one lucky girl! I fostered Albert for CRUSA before Anita adopted him several years ago. Met with Anita several times at my house and hers, and I knew instantly how lucky Albert was too. Anita was SO kind, gentle and patient with all of her gang (Benny, Tessa & Karma), and she went to great lengths to make sure Albert had a wonderful transition to his new home.
